He is risen!

He is risen indeed!

What is the true meaning of Easter?

Easter is a Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. The day symbolizes Jesus overcoming death on the third day after his crucifixion and offering eternal life to believers.

“He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.” Luke 24:6-7

Easter is a time of joy, hope and renewal. It’s a celebration of new life, forgiveness and the promise of salvation for those who believe in Jesus Christ.

When is Easter observed?

Typically, Easter is observed the first Sunday after the full moon that occurs on or after the spring equinox, which is March 21. If the full moon falls on a Sunday, then Easter is the next Sunday.
